Spring in Lincoln Square

M and I love this neighborhood!  Of all the little mini-cities within Chicago where we've lived, this neighborhood is by far the most charming and pleasant.  We enjoy walking through the quiet side streets as an escape from the madness of the big-city.

There is a real sense of community here; neighbors even leave water dishes out for the littlest walkers!
We particularly love to walk to a little park around the corner by the river.

There are plenty of dandelions for Lola to munch on...

And Jasper always finds something nice and stinky to roll around in

Michael contemplates the meaning of life down by the river.

Did you know that Lincoln Square is the German capital of Chicago?

After a nice afternoon stroll you can wander down to the Square for a Bier and some fun at Maifest.

Cheers from Lincoln Square!
